{Source: B.Tech students & alumni]SASTRA University provides a well-rounded campus life with multiple sports grounds and coaching facilities, along with a moderately busy calendar of events. The mess food is of acceptable quality and hygiene standards, but students may need to eat out occasionally due to additional expenses. The college has a strict attendance policy and consequences for rule violations, with a diverse student body from various locations. Academically, there is a relatively hectic schedule with frequent exams and practical discussions around case studies. The college has a secure environment with guards and CCTV cameras, and no instances of security breaches have been reported. The college takes a strong stance against ragging and has a well-stocked library with teacher support for research and reading resources.Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of SASTRA University's B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering programme is good to excellent. Here's a brief summary of the reviews:Review 1 mentions that the infrastructure is good, including the academic blocks and hostels, which are neat and clean. The hostel mess and canteen food are not complained about and there are plenty of amenities for sports and games. The campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity and the library is massive with many features.Review 2 describes the infrastructure as modern and excellent, with Wi-Fi, an excellent library and a good environment. The campus is secure, with separate hostels for boys and girls, medical facilities and games.Review 3 highlights the good infrastructure, including unlimited super-fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs and good hostel facilities. However, the reviewer notes that the food quality in the mess is poor and non-vegetarian food is not allowed inside the campus and hostel.Review 4 states that the entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with 5G bandwidth and there are doctors and nurses in the health center. The sports facilities are good, but the reviewer notes that swimming facilities are lacking.Review 5 describes the infrastructure as very good, with whole campus equipped with Wi-Fi, a good library and well-equipped classrooms with projectors. I think the answer is no because both universities are private university and both are good university as far as curriculum is concerned so both the universities charges almost tge same amount of fees for thier subjects. As far as btech courses is concerned periyar University charges 70000 per sem and sastra also acharges 72000 per sem which is not a big difference and devplment fees and hostel fees is almost same approximately 20000 per year .As far MBA is concerned sastra charges 1 Lacs per se. Where periyar charge 80000 per sem so here periyar is less expensive than sastra university. For other courses you also find periyar charge less amount than sastra university though the difference is upto 5000 rs.
