It is simple, just multiply your CGPA by 9.5 and you'll get your percentage. For instance :- if your CGPA is 8.5 then you multiply your CGPA I. e. 8.5 * 9.5 and you'll get your CGPA into percentage that is 80.75% that's it.

To determine whether you can secure admission at Sastra University based on your JEE Mains scores, it is essential to consider the previous year's cutoff ranks. Sastra University does not release specific cutoff ranks for admission through JEE Mains. Sastra University has its own entrance exam called Sastra Engineering Entrance Examination SEEE for admission to its engineering programs. Nevertheless, they may also consider JEE Mains scores for admission purposes. It's recommended to visit Sastra University's official website or contact their admissions department for the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding admissions criteria and cutoffs. They will be able to provide you with detailed information on the admission process and the required scores for your desired course.

Sastra University offers admission to its Computer Science Engineering (CSE) programme through various channels, including Stream 1 and Stream 2.
Stream 1: Admissions are based on the JEE Main scores, and the candidate must have passed their 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
Stream 2: Admissions are based on the 10+2 or equivalent examination scores, and the candidate must have a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) combined. Based on your score of 970 in your Intermediate Public Examination (IPE), it is unlikely that you would be eligible for CSE in Sastra University through Stream 1 as you have not taken the JEE Main exam. However, you may be eligible to apply for the CSE programme through Stream 2 if you meet the minimum eligibility requirements of having a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM. However, admission to Sastra University is competitive, and the actual cutoffs for admission may vary from year to year depending on the number of applicants and the availability of seats. It is recommended that you visit Sastra University's official website or contact the admission office for the latest information on eligibility criteria and admission requirements for the CSE programme.

As per the information I found on tier official website that 30% of seats are reserved for Stream 2 (based on +2 marks) and admission is based on normalized aggregate Class XII Scores. The minimum percentage required for admission in CSE/ECE branch is not mentioned on the website. However, according to a *. Com post, Stream 1 (JEE Mains score (25%)+12th Grade score (75%) has 70% seats while Stream 2 (12th Grade score) has 30% seats. The minimum percentage required for admission in CSE branch is not mentioned but you can apply for the NRI category even if you arent one. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello Chandu Krishna, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in the branch of computer sciences engineering for your graduation. Normally speaking almost every student who wishes for an admission in an engineering college gives this branch as the first choice. As a result of this the closing ranks for the closing percentiles are extremely high in almost all the colleges across India be it IIT or NIT or even the local engineering colleges. As a rule of thumb one needs to score more than a percentile of 99.5 to get a seat in computer sciences engineering even in Sastra deemed to be university. Best wishes to you.

Sastra University, Thanjavur is a prestigious institution that offers various undergraduate programs, including B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Admission to B.Tech at Sastra University is primarily based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam and entrance test. Based on the information you have provided, you have scored an impressive 979/1000 in intermediate and 89% in JEE Mains. While these scores are good, the admission process at Sastra University is competitive, and the final decision on admission depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and the cutoff for the particular course. To know if you are eligible for admission to B.Tech in CSE at Sastra University, you need to check the cutoff scores for the course in the current admission cycle. You can visit the official website of Sastra University or contact the university admission office to get the latest information on cutoff scores. If your scores meet or exceed the cutoff, then you have a good chance of getting admission to the course. However, please note that admission decisions are made based on multiple factors, and meeting the cutoff score does not guarantee admission. It is also essential to meet other eligibility criteria and follow the admission process guidelines specified by the university.
