The university accepts entrance exam scores as a prerequisite for admission to the MBA programme. The specialisations available are in data science, marketing, business analytics, digital marketing, supply chain management, logistics, and human resources. Nonetheless, the preferences and professional opportunities of the candidates will determine which specialty is preferable. Candidates must have earned at least 50% of their bachelor's degree in any discipline in order to be eligible. There are 180 MBA seats available at Shoolini University. For every course, there is an online application process.

During the selection process, candidates' performance on the relevant entrance tests is taken into account. The CAT cutoff for admission to MBA programmes is 60-80 percentile. This qualifying cutoff may change year to year depending on a variety of circumstances. Shoolini University also takes the letter of intent into account while making admission decisions. Following the completion of the selection processes, the university publishes a merit list in which the names of the shortlisted candidates are announced. Shortlisted candidates must attend counselling and document verification. To secure a place at the university, students must pay a course fee.

The exam is administered in four phases: February, May, September, and December. The MAT test is administered in three modes: offline (Paper Based Test or PBT), online (Computer Based Test or CBT), and remotely proctored (Internet Based Test or IBT). The MAT fees, exam schedule, and syllabus are the identical for all three modes, however the admit card and exam dates differ.

More than 180 UG, PG, and PhD courses in a variety of subjects are available at the institution, including engineering, management, commerce, pharmacy, law, and more. For the engineering branch, it also provides summit research courses and lateral entrance admissions. In addition, the Shoolini University Centre for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE) provides BBA, BCom (Hons), and other courses.
