The placement record is very strong at this college, according to me, and about 80 to 85 percent of students are put in large companies such as Google Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. We have an active career support team office that is exclusively made available to serve our carriers better. They also carry big companies who bid 6 to 7 Lacs per year, which can go up to 15 Lacs per year, to do the internship for the final placement. The school's technology is really strong and the whole college is provided by Google's full Wi-Fi and live lab. This college is the best in this selection, from my point of view. Here, in nature, the faculty members are also very strong and the greatest knowledge they have. They always encourage us to enhance you, and here study materials are provided with a fully online mode, which is very good to access anywhere you want at any time. 1. Location: Chandigarh University is not located in Chandigarh as it name suggests and it is very common to be confused between PU and CU. CU is located in greater Mohali area towards Chandigarh- Ludhiana highway. It is about 45 mins away from main Chandigarh. One can easily get a bus or a cab from kharar which is the nearest bus stand 15 mins away from Uni in an auto. Nearest market is Kharar market where you can get almost all the basic necessities.
2. Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great of Chandigarh University. Campus is made in 200 acres. It has around 18 academic blocks including south campus. Food courts and small shops for refreshment is available around every academic block with a stationary shop . Basketball court and sports complex is situated for sports enthusiasts.
3. Faculty & course curriculum: Most of the faculty for engineering and sciences are PHD holders with industrial experience. Faculties are very helping and guide students well. Talking about course curriculum, it is followed by UGC guidelines and is same as in other institutions. They do provide Mandatory non graded subjects for overall development of a student. Along this there are a huge variety of open electives to choose from. Also depending upon the duration of course they segregate into students who want placements and those who do not want basically who go for higher education. for higher education exams they provide guidance and extra classes in evening.

4. Placement: For courses like CSE and Hotel Management there are many companies who come for. Companies like wipro, cognizant and Deloitte take students in bulk whereas there is a competition for companies like microsoft, google, amazon. for hotel management; Walt Disney, The Oberoi, Radisson,JW Marriott etc .
For courses like Chemical, Petroleum, mechatronics etc. there are less core companies and even students sitting for placements are less too. So among these students 85% gets placed.
There is a different department, DCPD i.e. Department of Career Planning and development which prepares students for placement interviews including communication skills and Aptitude. It is called TPP classes i.e. Training and Placement program which is mandatory for students who wants to sit for campus placement.
5. Hostel Facility: Hostels are decent and more than enough. It has basic amenities in hostel room with beds, cupboard, study table, book shelf, curtains etc. Hostels are very much safe especially for girls.

Chandigarh University is not an ICAR recognized university and you will not have any future in government sector after doing B.Sc. Agriculture hons. From this university. This is NAAC A+ grade university but only beneficial for those who want to go in private sector. Infrastructure and hostel facilities are very good. Environment are well and you can enjoy here but for agriculture this is not good.

Chandigarh university is no doubt giving us so much prospect to understand this course a little more. We can explore, experiment and be inovative with the products and hence get to learn more and more. The industrial visits, field works let us learn about the materials practically and also learn about the society choice and also improves our communication skills and general knowledge.
