A:

SHUATS offers various courses in the field of Agriculture, such as BSc (Hons) Agriculture, BSc (Hons) Horticulture, and more. In each of these courses, twenty-five percent (25%) of the total seats are filled through all India entrance tests conducted by ICAR. Q:   Does SHUATS have good placements?

A:

SHUATS placements may vary depending on the specific programme you're considering for placements. Here's a breakdown:

SHUATS has a Directorate of Career Planning and Counseling (DCPC) that actively works with students on career development and placement opportunities. They organize workshops, mock interviews, and career counseling sessions to help students prepare for the job market.

Some sources report that around 75% of students get placed through on-campus placements. This can vary depending on the program, with some like Food Technology, Dairy Technology, and Agriculture having better placement rates than others.

Well-known companies like Nestle, ITC, and Parle Agro have been known to recruit from SHUATS.

For more information visit website shikhsha.com.

Q:   What is the average package offered at SHUATS?

A:

However, based on my research from multiple sources, the average package offered at SHUATS generally falls within the range of 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. This means that on average, SHUATS graduates can expect to receive an annual salary in this range upon placement.

Here are some specific examples of average package estimates I found:

  1. Shiksha: They report an average package of 3.5 LPA for B.Tech graduates at SHUATS.
  2. Their estimate for the average package is also around 3.5 LPA.
  3. Student reviews: While student reviews offer anecdotal evidence, some mention achieving packages as high as 6 LPA, while others report receiving average offers of around 3 LPA.

Remember, these are just averages, and individual experiences may vary depending on the factors mentioned earlier. It's important to research the specific programme you're interested in and consider other factors like internships and skill development to get a more complete picture of your potential career trajectory after graduating from SHUATS.

Professors are really good and helpful but according to fee they are not worth.
Placements: As I'm opting non a technical course there is no placement in my course. The however ratio of placements for technical courses is also not good. There are very few or no placements from our university. No companies visit our university every passing year.
Infrastructure: There is a lab and library for practice and self-study. Although hostel facilities are good, the food offered in the mess is of good quality and there are variations in the menu. Medical facilities are not good they are more concerned about money rather than students' health.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable they are also very cooperative. More importantly, they are reachable if you have any doubt you can easily communicate with them and clear it out. Semester exams are not very difficult if one is good at studying.
Other: There are no events on our university campus, and fees are also very high.

Our college does not give placements in our course.
Placements: The college does not give placements for our course students, and companies do not visit the college for placements. Placements are available in different courses and only in some elective courses. Few companies visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities like Wi-Fi and labs. Nothing is available in the college. The infrastructure is average. Departments are not separate. There is no good canteen. Medical facilities are available but only for students of universities.
Faculty: Teachers are not so qualified. They teach very badly. They don't even help you a little bit. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not that hard. The pass percentage is average, and anyone can pass the exams.
Other: The crowd in the college is good. College life is also good, but there are no sports in college. Few fests are also organised here.
