As per the official website of SAU Delhi, the university does not accepts CUET score. The university conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for UG, PG and PhD courses. SAU renews freeship for the second year and subsequent years provided the awardees have secured a minimum CGPA of 4.5 for the science streams (Biotechnology, Computer Science and Mathematics) and 4.0 for the other streams (Economics, Sociology, International Relations and Law) at the end of the previous year.

SAU Delhi conducts an entrance exam for admission to LLM course. The entrance test is conducted for a two-hour duration and consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. Besides general knowledge, political science, geography, general science and civics of the Class 12 level, the entrance test also covers questions of LLB level.
