SPA is one of the most prestigious institutions in India in the field of architecture.
It is also known as the IIT of architecture, hence, to secure a rank here, one has to prove their mettle.
For your selection in here, you should score more than 260 (as of 2017). This would translate your rank to nearly below 1000, as cut-off here resides between at around 11000.
With the above information, you are not eligible for SPA.

Admission to the course is based on the candidates performance in a relevant entrance examination, such as GATE, CEED, TANCET etc. some such exams are listed here with their details.
GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is conducted jointly by IITs and the Indian Institute of Science. The minimum eligibility to take the test is graduation.
CEED- Common Entrance Examination for Design is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and IITs.
Also, there are some colleges and universities that conduct their own entrance tests for admission to the course, while some offer direct admission too. Candidates aspiring for admission to the course need to have completed graduation in Architecture from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Regards.
