For Lateral Entry admission to B.Tech program, candidates must hold a Diploma or B.Sc. degree with at least 55% aggregate marks. Students must have secured 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 to pursue BBA, B.Com and BCA courses. For B.Sc program, students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant discipline with an aggregate of at least 45% marks. For B.Voc, candidate must pass 10+2 examination with 45% marks. For admission to MBBS program, candidates must have passed Class 12 with PCB as subjects.

Admissions to the BSC in Nursing programme at SRHU are based on the Nursing Entrance Examination (NEE) conducted by the university. In 2024, the university started accepting online applications for the programme on May 25, 2024. The entrance exam was conducted on June 12, 2024. The university announced the NEE results on its official website on June 21, 2024. The counselling process was conducted in various rounds starting June 28, 2024.

Scoring 60% in Class 12 does not guarantee admission to the BSc in Nursing course of SRHU. To be eligible for BSc (Nursing) admission at SRHU, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

• Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCB subjects taken together
• The minimum aggregate required for SC/ST/OBC candidates is 40%
• The minimum age of candidates shall be 17 years on or before Dec 31 of the admission year
• Must have appeared for Nursing Entrance Examination (NEE) conducted by the university
