{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}Worthiness of Investment in MBA/PGDM Program at Sri UniversityAfter analyzing the reviews and ratings from various students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Pros:* Good Placement Record: With a majority of students (around 90%) getting placed, the placement record of Sri University seems impressive.* Higher Package Offers: The highest package offered was INR13 LPA, and the average package was around INR5-7 LPA, making it attractive for students seeking higher salaries.* Relevant Curriculum: The course curriculum was deemed relevant to the industry, making students "industry-ready" according to several reviewers.* Helpful Faculty: Professors were found to be knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful, providing guidance beyond academics.* Good Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure was described as good, with modern classrooms, a central library, and recreational facilities.Cons:* Limited Industry Exposure: Some students felt that the college could improve in providing industry exposure, which might affect placements.* Quality of Canteen and Mess Food: While the hostel rooms and food quality received positive reviews, some students mentioned that the canteen and mess food was not up to par.* Limited Opportunities for Non-Marketing Roles: Marketing, HR, and Finance roles seemed to dominate the placement scene, leaving fewer opportunities for students interested in other fields. Conclusion:Based on the collective feedback, it appears that the MBA/PGDM programme at Sri University has its strengths, particularly in regards to placement outcomes and faculty support. However, there is scope for improvement in certain areas, such as industry exposure and food quality. Considering these factors, investing in the programme may be worthwhile for individuals looking for a relatively affordable and industry-focused MBA experience. Nevertheless, potential applicants should carefully weigh these pros and cons before making an informed decision.
