With a rank of 26,071 in EAPCET and 79,400 in NEET, gaining admission to a BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) programme at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) may be challenging, as the competition is quite high, especially in government colleges. For BVSc admissions, SVVU primarily considers NEET scores, and the cut-off ranks vary each year based on factors like seat availability, the number of applicants, and category quotas. A rank of 79,400 in NEET might be on the higher side for securing a seat in the general category.but somehow, there are chances if you belong to a reserved category (SC/ST/BC), or you may qualify under the management quota if the university offers such seats. It's recommended to contact the admission office of SVVU directly to confirm the specific cut-off for your category and explore other possible pathways for admission.

Graduates of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree normally earn between INR 3-5 Lacs annually. However, the pay may differ depending on the region, the business, and the candidate's experience.Numerous graduates find employment in government veterinary services, private clinics animal health organisations, and research facilities; some choose to pursue further education or open their own practices. Particularly in the rural and semi-urban settings the veterinary profession offers long-term career advancement and job stability even though compensation packages may not be as high as those in engineering or management.

Pursuing Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc) at Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University (SVVU) also involves certain costs. The total fee for the BVSc programme is Rs 50,940, which includes academic expenses pertaining to teaching and infrastructure. Besides this, all students have to pay an one-time admission cost of Rs 2,785 during the time of enrollment. Other than these, students should also take care about the other supplementary costs like books, study materials, hostel fees (if any), and personal living expenses. Although, these are quite cheap when compared to some private institutions, but when overall expenses are included with the additional living expenses, the total cost gets really inflated.
