The placements according to the industry standards are good and the exposure is great. The summer internships also ensure forming the building blocks before entering the industry after the final placements. Majority of placements are in advertising agencies, research agencies and digital agencies. The average and the placements cycle have gotten better over the yearsThe campus is very well built and has state of the art facilities. Since it's away from the city commute to the city and back takes a while but living on campus is managed by the authorities. However, a little more access to online food portals, delivery portals, etc. Like swiggy, Zomato, big basket, etc. Were a great option. The course and faculty is well woven to give us the right exposure and experience in the industry. We have several external faculty members that come in for our specialisation courses to give us the corporate exposure. Apart from the regular course curriculum, the assignments, corporate talks, workshops, etc. Helped to build on the existing course that is taught. Apart from academics, the co-curricular and extra-curricular combined together to build the right experience that the students in a media college deserve.

If you are planning for an MBA and willing to switch your job, for now, I would say that the offer is worth a try. Working with one of India's retail giants will definitely add points on your resume and even your prior work experience will be an added advantage. Also, profiles like Store/floor Manager will help you explore more on your inclination towards Operations and Supply Chain Management. This will be very helpful and would give you a more clear understanding when you pursue your MBA. According to my journey in IMT- Nagpur, and having studied Operations as one of my electives I would suggest you can give a try on this offer. My college offers Major specialisation on Operations and you can opt for minors as Business Analytics and IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Economics or General Management as per your interest. Also, SIOM is one of the finest colleges for Operations Management. You have to secure at least 80 percentile in CAT to get into these colleges, although the cut-off changes every year.

Hello, I'd suggest choose GIM due to the better brand name, placements, and infrastructure. Though you should also check out the student reviews of both the colleges for more insights and then take a final call.

It's hard to say, if it gets cleared. But it can be possible if more students above you who are not willing to take admission Or withdraw in between, you may have a chance. So, just be hopeful.

No college excludes your academics, as it plays a major role while getting selected in executive placements as well.
