Yes you are eligible to do lateral B.Tech in Techno India. You have to give the entrance exam and score the rank for the the college.

I would refer you Haldia for mechanical because it has industrial exposure for core engineering departments whereas Techno does not provide such facilities.

Basically, here admission is through counseling, based on the rank obtained in West Bengal Joint Entrance Lateral Entry Test (JELET). But, vacant seats will be filled through management quota based on marks obtained in Diploma.
So, you can get through management quota also.

Galgotias will be a better option for BBA and other management studies. It's good because it is in North India as business starts and ends in Delhi a majority of times.
