Great faculty and infrastructure, placements are improving. The college is as good as its students.
Placements: Placements are the first thing any interested student looks forward to while taking admission to colleges. But one should also consider that the area of study in this college is quite a niche and something which corporates, although interested in paper, execute extremely cautiously due to a multitude of reasons, few being lack of knowledge, intent, and extreme and undue focus on financial metrics. Having said that, TERI SAS is a brilliant place if a student is looking to pursue research or work with development organisations at the grassroots level. Coming to corporates, as mentioned earlier, it is a trend which is picking up with mild success. As of last year, the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, while the average was in the zone of 6 to 7 LPA. Among the companies that recruited students were Vedanta, KPMG, IREDA, and other such companies. The placement percentage would be around 60% from the college's end while the rest were bagged by students through their individual initiative. In the forthcoming years, as the market grows and matures to the concept of sustainability, we expect more organisations, ranging from consultancies and manufacturing organisations to join the list. Also, placement is also a result of the kind of student one is, and the complete responsibility cannot be transferred to the college authorities. Both of them have to work symbiotically to achieve success.
Infrastructure: The academic infrastructure at the college is top notch. The library both physical and digital is well stocked, and material on the subjects relevant to the college's academic requirements are plentiful. There is also material beyond one's course requirement, and if students request for some particular material, it is made available. It is a small campus hosting around 500 students maximum at full strength. The college is equipped with a badminton court, a half basketball court, table tennis tables, a small gym, and other indoor sports like chess and carrom. Being an MBA student, we did not have the necessity of labs as such; however, if one is inclined, the facilities of the solar lab, biotech lab, the water testing lab, along with other labs can be easily accessed. Every classroom is equipped with projectors, whiteboards, air-conditioners, and ergonomically designed items of furniture. The computer labs have the necessary software required for conducting studies, and Wi-Fi facility is available in every corner of the campus. The campus also supports green infrastructure, and the cafeteria is decently well-equipped and hygienic to satiate students' mid-lecture hunger pangs. There are open spaces created for students to engage in heated discussions or to just laze around. The green campus gives off a very cosy and homely vibe in the company of students, professors as well our super friendly non-teaching staff.
Faculty: The faculty at TERI SAS are experts from their respective fields. An important aspect according to me for a master's course is prodding a student to think and to question, which our faculty members do successfully. They are ever approachable and motivate students to take up initiatives beyond the academic curriculum. The permanent faculty are supported by guest faculty members who again come with robust and rich experiences. Being a small class with around 18-23 students generally, each student gets personalised attention in the areas of interest as well as on problems they are facing. The faculty encourage discussions and debates which I feel are a necessity for postgraduate students. Do not expect to be spoon-fed knowledge. If any student wants to take up an initiative on work beyond curriculum and requires support, the faculty are always ready to guide. The curriculum is ever evolving and inline with the industry requirements. As for the MBA course, I would say 60 to 65% of the course is what a normal MBA looks like, but its the rest which makes the difference. We are taught about CSR, sustainability in different types of businesses, the various aspects of sustainability, from financial to operational and marketing, as well as frameworks used to measure impact and deploy sustainability projects. We also have various guest lectures by people from the field and who are associated with esteemed organisations like UN, UNGC, and others. There is no or extremely small disconnect between the theory taught in class and the practice in the actual world. Field trips are also conducted to address these minute disconnects.
Other: The college has a plethora of conferences it hosts as well as takes part in, thus providing a platform for students to learn, present their ideas, as well as connect with people from the sector. It is a small campus with not many students, almost everyone knows everyone, and we share a great camaraderie, which is evident during the many parties we have on campus during Diwali, freshers, farewell, Holi and many more. We also organise an intra-college sports fest. The college has various clubs like entrepreneurship, cultural, and others which are as active as the students. The campus as such is next door to a biodiversity park and hence much fresher than the rest of NCR region.

If you want to understand sustainability, then this is the place.
Placements: Placements at Teri have been tough to get through this year as recently IIM Lucknow has started a similar course. The companies that visited this year included KPMG, Godrej, Prodah, HCL Foundation, etc. The roles offered to students were for the position of assistant manager. The salary packages offered ranged from 5 to 10 lacs per annum. More than 60% of the students got internship opportunities through campus. The minimum stipend offered was Rs. 10,000 per month. There is a placement cell in college which is common for all the courses. All the opportunities are informed to the students over email and student portal.
Infrastructure: TSAS might not offer luxurious and huge infrastructure, but what it does provides is a sustainable infrastructure. From the building design to use of kulhads on every Wednesday, makes it a place where you feel for the environment and do your bit in conservating and protecting it. The quality of food served in the canteen is okay. The only limitation that TSAS has is that hostel facilities are only available for girls who are not residents of Delhi. But they do provide information regarding housing facilities nearby the campus.
Faculty: Our faculty members are subject matter experts who give their insights into each and every subject we have in the curriculum. Our teaching pedagogy also includes writing research papers and case-based learning. Field visits are also planned for us to make our learning more comprehensive. As part of our course curriculum, we have 2 internships; one minor (minimum 6 weeks) and one major (minimum 15 weeks) which helps students get a flavour of the business world as well as get hands-on experience.
Other: TSAS is like a small family, where we have our departmental fest as well as a university-wide fest every year. Connectivity might be an issue for some as the campus is situated in a secluded place, but the university has taken care of this challenge with the help of security guards who make the campus safe for everyone including the girls. For the recreation part, the university has a basketball court, a badminton court, table tennis tables and a small gym for all the gym freaks on the campus.

TSAS offers the best quality facilities and placement opportunities to MBA students.
Placements: TSAS has a special department for placements, which conducts various placement drives for on-campus placement. Around 40-45% of the students get successfully placed at this college. The average package offered at this college was 3-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Mahindra, TCS, Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has really good infrastructure for MBA in sustainability management. The college offers the best quality modern facilities to the students to uplift their academics and knowledge. The college campus is fully secured and has facilities like Wi-Fi, ample parking, library, canteen, labs, sports complex, etc., for its students. Hostel facilities are also available here for the students.
Faculty: The faculty available at TSAS is average. Professors are qualified and knowledgeable. They provide proper guidance and help to all the students. Teachers complete the syllabus on time and make students understand all the concepts. The course curriculum of this college is relevant and makes its students industry-ready. Exams at the college are of moderate difficulty level.

Want to contribute to Sustainable Development? Join TERI SAS!
Placements: There was 100 percent placement for the bath of 2018. About 90% of the students were placed. The average salary offered was between 5-14 Lacs depending on work experience. Some key recruiters this year are KPMG, Vedanta, Godrej, TERI, HCL, CRB, IMRB etc. To name a few. Some of the roles offered by this companies included RA, Business Analysts, Sustainability Officers and analysis, consultants, management trainee etc. About 60-70% of the students were placed for internships on campus and the stipend for this internship ranges from 10-40K for major projects.
Infrastructure: TERI SAS has good infrastructure and it boasts of its "green campus" and has state of the art labs. The classrooms are big and are equipped with the latest technology which assist in better learning. Food in the canteen is good quality. The menu is revised each semester. The hostel rooms are big and most of them have a balcony view. There have been no issues in relation to infrastructure during my tenure at TERI SAS.
Faculty: Most of the professors are researchers and are Masters in their courses. They are like mentors who give live projects in class apart from general case studies for practical application. The course structures focus on learning in groups so that this helps the students when they are hired by corporates, Student to faculty ratio is about 1:16 in the MBA classes. We have field visits and C2C sessions planned every week for industry exposure. The course curriculum is relevant and is updated regularly to keep it valid.
Other: TERI SAS offers a lot of opportunities to students to be part of conferences, community engagement activities, extracurricular activities as well as seminars. If one is looking for something of interest there is a chance that he/she will never be disappointed.

Teri Sas is a wonderful sustainability experience where days are memorable lessons for life.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed from campus. However, 100% of students get jobs within 6 months of the graduation. The salary range offered is 5-14 Lacs. Companies like KPMG, IREDA, Vedanta, Mahindra Finance, Godrej, Ultratech, GeoCycle, ACC, Ambuja, TERI, RSC, PPAP, Decathlon, HCL Foundation, IMRB, CRB, MAME Foundation, etc. Are among the top recruiters. The students were offered the roles like, Research Analysts, Business Analysts, Sustainability Analysts, Marketing Analysts, Sustainability Officers, CSR Officers, Financial Modelling Experts, Consultants, Management Trainees, etc. 70% of Internships are routed through the University, and the rest through individual effort. The stipend usually ranges between 10,000-40,000INR. The University has a placement committee and is quite efficient. However, the MBA batches have their own placement team.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well furnished and have an excellent central heating and cooling system. The library has a good collection of relevant course material. Furthermore, the library can also make books from other libraries from around Delhi available if need arise. The campus also has a clinic and medical facilities are readily available. The campus does not have a football or a cricket ground, but a plenty of other sports are enjoyed on the campus. During annual sports events, stadium are booked for students to enjoy and play cricket and other intensive games. The campus has a small gymnasium also. The classrooms are well-equipped with projects, multiple boards and video conferencing devices. The labs are well-equipped too with world-class technology. The campus has a multi-media room for international and very important webinars. The food available in the canteen ranges from good to decent. The University has accommodation only for girls. The rooms are good and provide affordable accommodation. I have faced no infrastructure related issues because I feel that any problem one has is immediately addressed. Also, the housekeeping staff is immensely helping and good.
Faculty: The professors and instructors are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. It is worth mentioning that our faculty members are from renowned institutions from across the world. The quality of teaching is unmatched and the pedagogy used to deliver the knowledge is highly engaging. The student to faculty ratio for the college is 9:1. For industry exposure, many trips to various organisations are organised. Apart from the day long visits which are planned more often, a trip to an industrial site is organised in every semester. The course curriculum is updated and industry specific.
Other: The University is a fun place. Apart from the department fest- Pravaah,TERI SAS organises its own festival annually. The campus is usually bustling in the fall semester when the campus is alive with all the students, however in spring semester, as the seniors go for their internships, the campus becomes a slightly dry place. Co-curricular activities are all on and around the campus with many clubs and societies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty
Placements: in my batch, it gives the 100% placement to all textile aspirants but the same thing does not occur with computer science aspirants . the highest salary offered was 2.4 lac and min was 1.8 lac. many garments and yarn manufacturing companies visited our campus but not the big one like Arvind, Vardhman, trident etc. they offered the position of a shift in charge or supervisor.
Infrastructure: facilities like wifi are terrible there and there are no proper facilities for games and sports at least in my time. the classes were messy due to lack of sanitation and medical facilities were also not that good. library and labs were the best thing this campus has. The food in the canteen was worst. Hostel rooms were big and newly constructed.
Faculty: most of the faculty were not experienced . they were qualified but not knowledgeable. 1:16 is the faculty-student ratio. yeah sometimes we get the industry exposure, the curriculum they provided can be much better if they want to. The Associate Deans of Curriculum and Course Development are responsible for monitoring and promoting the ongoing process of curriculum development but in our time they repeatedly change over time which effect the environment of studies as well as the placement of students. The office guides the processes for requesting and approving new courses, revisions to existing courses, and curricular changes, including proposals for new majors, minors, and interdisciplinary certificate programs. there were some issues arose regarding the affiliation of new course they introduced.
