{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}After analyzing the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:Pros:* Faculty expertise: Faculty members are experienced professionals with a strong background in their respective fields, providing valuable insights and mentorship.* Industry relevance: The curriculum is designed to meet industry needs, with a focus on sustainability management, making graduates industry-ready.* Placement record: While placements may vary, the school has a good track record, with around 60% of students getting placed, and salaries ranging from INR5-14 lakhs.* Infrastructure: The campus is modern, with good facilities, including a library, laboratories, sports complex, and canteen.* Research-oriented culture: Students have opportunities to participate in conferences, seminars, and research projects, fostering a research-oriented culture.Cons:* Limited corporate connections: Compared to other B-schools, Teri SAS may have limited connections with large corporations, leading to fewer placement opportunities.* Competition from IIM-Lucknow: The launch of a similar programme at IIM-Lucknow may affect the number of students seeking admission at Teri SAS.* Hostel restrictions: Girls' hostels are available, but boys' hostels are not, which may limit accommodation options for male students. In conclusion, while Teri School of Advanced Studies may have its limitations, it seems that the strengths outweigh the weaknesses. The faculty expertise, industry relevance, and research-oriented culture make it a viable option for those interested in pursuing an MBA/PGDM in sustainability management. Additionally, the school's efforts to promote placements and internship opportunities demonstrate its commitment to supporting students' career goals. However, potential students should carefully weigh the pros and cons, considering factors like corporate connections, competition, and accommodation options before making an investment decision. Ultimately, whether the investment is "worth it" depends on individual circumstances and priorities.
