The placement results for the M.Sc. graduates at affiliated colleges under Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education and Thakur College of Science and Commerce are largely determined by the individual college and programme and industrial link. Most of the colleges under the APSCHE are oriented towards the local job market in the state and regions and majorly in the technology and healthcare and government sectors. One advantage at Thakur College in Mumbai, especially, is the fact that one is closer to bigger, more noted job markets and even industries in Maharashtra, thus affording students better prospects for corporate placements and internships. More research would have to be done on the specific college for actual placement statistics and even industry tie-ups to make a fair comparison based on location and career goals.

At Thakur College of Science and Commerce, the highest package offered during placements tends to change anytime but recently it has been around 12-15 Lacs per annum. Nevertheless, there are few outstanding students who have been given packages as much as 18-20 Lacs per annum. One student from BMS programme even got a deal of 22 Lacs annual salary in one leading investment bank! Though these numbers may often seem unrealistic still they show what great prospective graduates can receive for their performance at school. On an average however any course or company pays anything between 3 to 6 Lacs every year.
