Hey,
I think you should not worry much about placement if you're planning to pursue MBA degree from LMTSM as they have really good and reputed recruiters visiting the campus for placement. I personally know few of alumnus from LMTSM who are placed in top MNCs, private and public sector enterprises by LMTSM. So you can go ahead with LMTSM for MBA degree as the plethora of opportunities are waiting for you. By the way for your kind information 4th June is the last date to apply for the college, so make sure you apply before that if you're determined to take admission.

But yes, last year, at the end, admission to Thapar was open to all. You could get a seat in the branches available at that time.
Usually, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Civil have some seats left.
Rest, visit www.thapar.edu for more information.

It's indeed nice to see that you are getting admission in Thapar in your desired branch. For becoming an IAS officer, you need to pass civil service exam, for which being a graduate is a must. So if you study well during four years at Thapar, it'll actually add up to preparation for IAS. Best wishes.

If you can work for one more year with full dedication and motivation from people around you, then I would suggest take a drop and give your 100%. In the end, luck matters a lot. All the best!

Placement at LM Thapar School of Management is really good. I must say that Thapar School of Management is an educational Institution which always looks after the benefits and betterment of their students. They follow a lateral hiring process which provides recruiters and students ample time to find their best fit. It has 50+ recruiters and last year the highest salary package went around 25.63 lacs. One of my friends is also pursuing MBA from LMTSM and he's doing well there and always received a good feedback about the college from him. The college is really worth spending time and money. You should go for it without thinking twice.
