Hello Aspirant, Thapar is now taking admissions on the basis of your 10 +2 Board examinations as due to this Covid 19 pandemic, JEE and other exams have been postpned. But the student must have appeared in the JEE Mains exam. As per my knowledge, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the best engineering colleges in India. Placements: Around 75% of my seniors are placed by the end of March and more will be placed in the coming month. The average package of the current batch is 5.87 LPA. Companies like Hyundai, KPMG, MRF visited the campus. The students were offered job roles in sales and marketing. Around 70% of the students got an internship from the campus. The average stipend is 7000 per month. The placement cell gives its best place to all the students.
Infrastructure: One of the most advanced campus in India. The facility includes Wi-Fi, medical facilities, library, sports, the mess, hostel and academic block is fully air-conditioned. The quality of mess and canteen food is good. I don't face any infrastructure related issue at the college.

Like most of the engineering colleges, there are two criteria for getting admission in Thapar Institute, Patiala. One is on the basis of your JEE score and the other one is on the basis of your 12th class percentage (PCM or PCB). The division of seats for the above two is 70% and 30% respectively.
