Engineering and social sciences are totally different sciences. One cannot really compare these two streams. There are some courses which demand specific degree for applying eg: clinical psychology, MBA etc. The remaining courses ask for any degree. You can go through the courses mentioned on the website, and if your interests match the subjects of the course, you can apply for it. I am an engineer myself and chose Public Policy, Governance, and Development Studies as my preferences for admission after finding that these two courses are of my interest. I have not chosen HRM&LR, which happens to be the most sought-after course in TISS, because I have no aptitude for management. Likewise, it all depends on your interests and needs, which show you a path to building your future.
