Both SIBM Pune and TISS Mumbai are prestigious institutions in India, and both finance and HRM are important fields. The choice between the two depends on your career goals and interests. If you are more inclined towards finance and aspire to work in the finance industry, SIBM Pune's finance programme may be a better fit for you. On the other hand, if you are passionate about human resource management and want to pursue a career in HRM, then TISS Mumbai's HRM programme might be the better choice. Consider factors such as curriculum, faculty, campus culture, and alumni network to make an informed decision. It's also helpful to speak with current students and alumni from both programs to gain insights into the experiences and opportunities each programme offers.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has aligned with the directives of the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission by adopting the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to its Postgraduate (Master's Degree) Programs. This move, effective for the CUET (PG)-2024, streamlines the admission process for postgraduate students aspiring to join TISS or other participating universities, including Central, State, and private institutions.Notably, TISS has extended this mandate to cover all its Postgraduate programs, encompassing disciplines such asMaster of Arts in Human Resource Management & Labour RelationsMaster of Arts in Organisation Development, Change, and Leadership. This centralized approach provides a single-window opportunity for candidates seeking admission to TISS and various participating institutions nationwide.

Preparing for the TISS entrance test syllabus will not be as tough as you think if you are already preparing for other Management entrance examinations like CAT, XAT or GMAT. The only thing required is consistency for one month, syllabus is quite similar to other entrance examinations for management programs. Here are a few things to keep in mind to cover your TISSNET Syllabus in one month : • Solve the previous year's question papers, there is never a major change in the pattern of questions. You should solve at least past 5 year question papers to be familiar with the time management and question framing strategy in TISSNET Examination. • Solve as many mock tests as you can. No amount of theory based learning will be worth it if you have not practiced to retain it all during the examination. Join a mock test program with any leading institutes for mock tests. It's not impossible, You will rock it, all you need is consistency, and you're good to go. Good luck.
