Faculty members expertise in different Zoology area is helpful.

Placements: The main focus is not on placement but on helping the students get opportunities in academic or research institutes. Some of the companies, like the Wildlife Institute of India, the Zoological Survey of India and various state forest departments, recruit.

Infrastructure: There is a department and it has a classroom and seminar place. With that, it has pretty big and well-equipped laboratories for various branches of Zoology, including different genres like animal, genetics, and microbiology, with relevant subscriptions for online resources.

Faculty: The curriculum is not for job placement, meaning that it is not for industry-specific needs but is more research oriented and for students who want immediate jobs, it might not meet there needs. There are specific specializations, like aquaculture and wildlife management, that can be offered.

Infrastructure: The students are given access to the central library; there is a separate library on the campus itself for the Zoology department and also university-wide, there is a central library, and students can go there. There is a hostel present on the campus itself, with security.

Placements: The overall statistics for this batch are around sixty to seventy percent. For this course, generally, research-oriented organizations, environmental agencies, and a few NGOs are the top recruiters who come for both internship and placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: The department has good infrastructure with equipped labs for research like fish ecology and genetics. There is a good collection of scientific resources and various other relevant databases in the library. Basic amenities like Wi-Fi and laundry services are available.

One of the best colleges in the country.

Placements: There are no placements yet, and some are going for higher education and others are looking for a job and doing some professional courses. In our batch, most of them are still studying, and from our senior batch, some of them got a good job in education department with a good salary, nearly Rs. 3,20,000 per year.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is free in our university for laptop and mobile. The classrooms are very good, and labs are also highly maintained with all facilities. It has a football ground, indoor games facility. The food is good at an affordable price, and many varieties are there in the canteen. There are also boys and girls hostels available here. I never faced any issues here during my course.

Faculty: All teachers are highly educated. All teachers from our zoology department are helpful. For them, students come first. They are well-skilled teachers, and we keep learning from them. They are taking extra classes also, for our development. Practical classes are very good.

Other: During our courses, too many events are happening here, like inter-college fests, inter-college sports events.
