 Before deciding on the colleges - Please understand their functioning and difference TICT (New Town) : Forget the placements, TICT Rajarhat hardly sees any companies visiting the campus. Students are taken to TIU to sit for campusing. Now the main thing. Techno India Group gives priority to TIU and not TICT. And wait! Techno India Rajarhat is not even sure about its name. Better join Techno India University, it is the Corporate Headquarter of Techno India Group. UEM (Kolkata) : UEM is very strict in terms of DISCIPLINE. UEM is very strong in CSE department and also in MECHANICAL engineering. All the teachers of CSE and ME are excellent. Placement is very good. IEM- UEM group together do placements. The University of Engineering & Management (UEM) has academic collaboration with these foreign Universities:-
– University of Nevada, Las Vegas
– Brunel University, London
– ESC Rennes School of Business, France
– Iwate Prefectural University, Japan
Students of UEM can stay a semester abroad in these Universities and study in these Universities. They may also go for a month internship in these Universities.
No extra tuition fee is needed for the purpose. Only the students need to bear the cost of flight and subsidized accommodation and food.
Few students from Europe visit our institute and study as our students for a semester. Students from our institute also go to European institutes and study for a semester.
4th IEM-UEM Convention and Study Abroad Programme (SAP) is going on in National University of Singapore (NUS).
Students are taking part in this Convention, along with workshops, project and certification programme.
