Given positive reviews about the academic environment, faculty and infrastructure, the Universal College of Engineering (UCoE) at Thane, Maharashtra is reputed as a good college. Students laud the faculty, who have all experienced more than a decade, and the modern infrastructure facilities, including well-furnished laboratories, a huge expanse campus, and the very convenient provision of electric bikes for campus mobility. The placement cell is an active one that assists students in getting places in various multinational companies. The college does not have provisions for hosting students, although it provides lockers for the same. Overall, campus life vibrates with events like "Vero" and "Aurora," among many others.
