At Lucknow University, admission to the B.Com. programme is mostly determined by the student's 10+2 grades. To be considered for admission to Lucknow University's B.Com program, candidates must register. Shortlisted candidates will be chosen from the university's merit rankings. The issue is in the need that the candidate pass their 12th grade with either Commerce as their major or Economics or Mathematics as one of their subjects. You earned a 10+2 Diploma in biology, chemistry, and physics. Thus, you are ineligible for admission.

{Source: B.Sc. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.Sc Programs at Lucknow UniversityBased on the reviews provided, here's an analysis of the placement cell's effectiveness for B.Sc programs at Lucknow University:Mixed Reviews: While some students reported positive experiences with the placement cell, others expressed dissatisfaction. Some mentioned that the placement cell is not effective for B.Sc programs, while others stated that it varies depending on the course and industry.Reasonable Salary Packages: A few students mentioned receiving salary packages ranging from 1-2 LPA to 5.5 LPA (Godrej) and 6 LPA (ONGC).Limited Job Opportunities: Many students noted that job opportunities are limited for B.Sc graduates, and companies rarely visit the campus for recruitment.Central Placement Cell Efforts: The Central Placement Cell (CPC) seems to make efforts to assist students in finding employment, offering placement assistance, counseling for employment, and even self-employment.Variability in Placement Rates: Reports suggest that approximately 30-40% of students might get placed annually, with some companies like HCL and Tata recruiting students.Insufficient Support: Some students felt that the placement cell requires improvement, citing instances where students had to search for internship opportunities independently due to the absence of an Internship cell. Conclusion: Based on these mixed reviews, it appears that the placement cell at Lucknow University shows promise but requires further development to effectively cater to the needs of its B.Sc programme students.

{Source: M.A. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for M.A. Programs at Lucknow UniversityBased on student reviews, the placement cell at Lucknow University does exist, but its effectiveness seems limited. Here's what students have said:* "They [placement cell] inform us about various jobs." (Positive)* "Many students are shortlisted." (Positive)However, some limitations and issues were mentioned:* "There is no placement cell and no company for placements." (Negative)* "College doesn't provide internships." (Negative)It appears that while the placement cell may provide some information about job opportunities, it might not be able to secure internships or direct placements for students. This suggests that the placement cell's effectiveness could be improved by providing more practical training and internship opportunities.Overall, the placement cell's impact on M.A. programme students' career prospects seems moderate at best. While some students did get shortlisted, others faced challenges due to the lack of internship opportunities and direct placements.
