Yes the University of Mysore is a recognised University with the University Grants Commission (UGC) and it is among the listed universities in Kerala Public Service Commission (Kerala PSC). Hence the Bachelor in Computer Applications (BCA) obtained through University's online programme with appropriate score is acceptable for employment in Kerala PSC. However, it is worth to clarify that Kerala PSC has clear requirements regarding the accreditation of the degrees, particularly, distance or online programs. However, University of Mysore's BCA programme offered through the online mode has been approved by the UGC. and the university itself is approved by Kerala PSC, the candidate can check whether the specific online BCA programme in question meets or not all the criteria prescribed by the Kerala PSC.Since the information of the Kerala PSC is changing very frequently, it is advised to go through the official notifications of the Kerala PSC or you may also contact the helpdesk of PSC Kerala. Furthermore, one can check the current equivalency lists and guidelines of the Kerala universities to clear the understanding of acceptance of some particular degree.
