University of Mysore only offers PG courses on its campus. Additionally, all the UG programmes offered here are only provided via the constituent colleges under the university. Mysore University conducts Postgraduate Entrance Exam (PGEE) for admission to PG courses. The university has 235+ affiliated colleges and five constituent colleges incorporated under it. It is also accredited with ‘Grade A’ by NAAC and offers various UG, PG, MPhil and Doctorate programmes in multiple disciplines.Besides, Mysore University offers UG and PG courses in online mode through the Directorate of Online Programmes, UOM. The university also offers PG courses such as MA, MSc, MCom, etc. in distance education mode through the Directorate of Distance Education.

The total fee of University of Mysore include multiple components such as caution deposit, hostel fee, tuition fee, etc. As per the official website, Cat-I and OBC students, whose annual income is below INR 2.5 and INR 1 lakh, respectively are exempted from payment of tuition fee, lab fee, sports fee, library and examination. There is 50% concession in the tuition fee for SC/ ST students fulfiling the same criteria.
