The faculty members here are all either from NID or IIT Bombay and some from Italy and Manchester too. Here the labs are very hi-tech and the workshop machines are also very advanced.The college is well-equipped with essential learning tools. State of the art design studios at SoDS offer the right blend of real life learning and theoretical design fundamentals. The students are also given an opportunity to experience the real world of designing through summer internships and guest visits by influential people from the industry.

In the last year 2023 it has got NIRF ranking of 94 for management category
