No, UPES School of Health Sciences and Technology is not a government college. It is a private college established under the UPES Dehradun which is accredited by NBA,  IACBE,  and with an A Grade by NAAC, and approved by UGC. To get admission to BDes, candidates must have atleast 50% aggregate in Class 12.
