Popularly known as South Gujarat University, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) is a state-level university, located in Surat. The University was established in 1965 and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities and accredited by the NAAC with Grade ‘A’.

To prepare for CMAT exam you need to do two things. Cover the exam syllabus and practice mock tests. After you decide to appear for CMAT the first thing you should do is check the CMAT syllabus. Make a list of topics that you are familiar with and topics that you have never studied before. Start with topics that you are unfamiliar with as those topics will take time. Yes, Syllabus for both, CAT and CMAT are similar for three sections i.e. Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, RC, Verbal and Logical Reasoning. However, CMAT Examination has two extra sections which are General Awareness, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. 

Candidates are advised to prepare for common topics and sections first, and then proceed to CMAT exclusive section.

CMAT answer key is released 3-7 days after the exam. The exact date of CMAT exam answer key release is shared by the NTA in after the exam has been conducted. After the release of CMAT answer key, candidates can assess their performance, by tallying their responses and official answers. They can also challenge the official CMAT answer key, by filling an online form and uploading supporting documents. The NTA-CMAT will examine the objections to see if they are genuine or not. In case, the ojection/s are found to be valid, the CMAT answer key is revised and released as the final answer key. The CMAT result is prepared only after examination of all te objections received from candidates.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) offers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to help with admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Approximately 1,300 private and public B-schools in India, including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA, have acknowledged it. The CMAT 2024 is likely to be scheduled around April or May of 2024. The CMAT 2024 exam date is anticipated to be revealed by NTA around the last week of January 2024, with registration opening in February of the same year. A wide variety of private and public colleges accept the CMAT because it is a moderately demanding exam. 

Candidates wanting to pursue a course from the VNSGU Surat need to submit the application form. Only the students who submit the applications before the deadline shall be eligible for admission. Moreover, aspirants must check the eligibility criteria for the course they are applying for before the form filling. Some of the important documents required at the time of admissions are:

The university conducts entrance exams for admission to courses, including BFA, BPT, BOPTM, BSc (Nursing), etc. Admission to the MBBS course at VNSGU is based on the NEET-UG score. Veer Narmad South Gujarat University accepts national-level exam scores for PG course admissions. For MBA, the CAT/CMAT score is accepted. While MD and MS courses admissions are through NEET-PG.

To get admission in Veer Narmad South Gujarat University MBA course candidates must first qualify the eligibility criteria as per the Admission Committee for Professional Courses or ACPC. The MBA eligibility includes:

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised Board/University in India.
• They must have appeared in the Common Management Aptitude Test 2021 exam and must have passed scored above the cutoff marks.

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University MBA is offered only in one specialisations Business Administration in a full-time mode. The duration of the course is of two-year. Admission to MBA at VNSGU is based on the guidelines of the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The Department of Business and Industrial Management also offers MBA (Evening) for working executives. Admission to the programme is based on performance in the entrance exam.
