VSSUT is known for its flagship program of B. Tech which is being offered in 10 specializations. For the B. Tech admissions at VSSUT, candidates are required to appear for the JEE Main or OJEE examination and participate in the OJEE counseling for final seat allotments.
For admission in CSE at VSSUT burla you need to have your general rank under 55k. So, crossponding percentile should be more than 96. For your percentile you won't be able to get into that. So, aim for 96+ percentile for admission there.

You will definitely get the best university if you are scoring high in JEE. Since you have got 81 marks I think you would get above the 93 percentile. So you can search for the college depending on the above using the below link

You may not get seat in NIT if your rank is 2.86 lakhs. But sometimes it depends on your category. There are few chances for getting into IIITs or GFTIs depending on your category. Getting seat in chemical or civil is difficult. You may get seat in least branches. But if you are Home State student of particular NITs or IIITs or GFTIs you may get a seat .
You will surely not get any seat in Josaa rounds . So you need to opt for CSAB special rounds so that you may get seat in some NITs or IIITs or GFTIs for some branches . Chemical or Civil is not a sure thing but sometimes you will get due to luck. It depends on the number of persons who have more rank than you appearing in CSAB rounds and number of seats left in those colleges in those particular branches .You'll have 3 options now:
Settle for some other engineering college and go ahead with its curriculum.
Settle for some other college and work for both your sem and next JEE prepration.
Join in some long term institutes and prepare well this time and give next JEE.

Yes, why not. But if u have studied +2 you need to clear JEE Mains by securing minimum cut-off mark & if pursued Diploma then need to clear OJEE minimum cut-off mark for admission in Burla.

Most probably yes, the JEE Main percentile above 80 is good enough for asked engineering branch. So you can be hopeful here.
