No, you are not eligible for VIT Chennai with a MAT score of 521 as this score compiles to around 44-45 percentile. And the MAT cutoff for VIT Chennai is 80+ percentile.

Is it worth to join VIT? I have got free seats in SRM and Amrita but I am more interested in VIT.

Getting CSE at VIT Chennai through category-1&2 is difficult. Chances of EEE, Civil and Mechanical are high.

Hello,
CSE versus ECE. The debate goes on from year to year. However, from the perspective of placements, CSE outscores ECE by miles. At least in the force-able future, this situation is likely to continue and the students will get placed. As you seem to like both the branches equally I would rather advise you to go for CSE since at least for the present and also in near future opportunities in this branch or really great. Best wishes to you.

CSE is difficult. However try out other options through various categories (From 1-5).

There is not much difference except VIT, Vellore campus is more developed and bigger than the Chennai campus. In terms of study and placement they are almost the same. But a few big companies come only in VIT, Vellore.

Hello,
If I may say so, your ranking is a bit on the lower side. College predictor by Shiksha can help you in guessing as to which branch and where you can get admission. To help you I am attaching this link. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering

Yes, there is management quota. For this you will need to contact the administration of VIT to know the details. Best wishes to you.
