VELS School of Engineering does not offer a 100% scholarship for the M.Tech program. However, the institution offers various merit-based scholarships to the students on the basis of entrance exam ranks as well as the performance of the students in the program. For instance, entrance examination toppers can get 100% of the of the fee waived off from the tuition fees in the first year of their study. A rank between 4 and 10 can also enjoy 75% fee slashing. Even more reduction is available for the rank lower down. The qualification examination 1st division holders may get slashing of fee between 10% and 50%. Thus, although there are more than enough scholarships given, a full scholarship is granted only to high achievers in limited areas.

Yes, the MAT score will suffice to get admission into MBA at VELS School of Management Studies and Commerce. The institute accepts scores from different entrance exams, such as MAT, CAT, XAT, and CMAT. For being eligible, candidates need to achieve a minimum percentage of 55-60% in these entrance exams. Furthermore, applicants must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university. Though MAT is accepted, candidates who qualify for other entrance exams are considered also, and those with higher scores will be more likely to get admission. After the entrance exam phase, the shortlisted candidates will be interviewed personally as well in the selection process.
