Dissatisfied, faculty are good, good environment, below average placement.
Placements: In my college, the placement ratio is below average. My class has 29 students, and only 3-5 people are placed. The highest is 7 LPA, the average is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest is 1 LPA annually. Top companies are TCS and Cognizant. I think everyone in my class has internships in different companies. In my case, I got an internship with an Indore-based company offering software solutions. I think top roles are developers, other than testers.
Infrastructure: Basic requirements of the facility are fulfilled like windows, rooms, fans, and other stuff like in a classroom. Yes, a projector is not there in every class; we have other rooms for projectors only. 1 or 2 projectors are there in college, and Wi-Fi is there but not allowed to connect your mobile. Yes, a library is very good, calm, and has a very good environment. Labs are there. Computer labs are awesome. You can code and run the internet, but you have access only on weekends. Laboratories are there for every subject. Laboratories are there. No hostel is available in this college or nearby, nor are any medical facilities nearby nor in college. Yes, first aid boxes are in the canteen, but only the food choices are there. Sports facilities are there every weekend. You can play whatever you want to play.
Faculty: I think teaching quality is average. Faculty are helpful if you ask them. They help you improve teaching quality. In my class, everyone studies YouTube because we don't understand how and why faculty are worried about the fast cover of the syllabus. I think if you put extra effort into your skills, you can be industry-ready, but this course is not. I think semester exams are not difficult. Yet, you can cover good marks if you study for a week before the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I want to study engineering in information technology because it's near my college of hometown, so I decided to study at this college. I think practical implementation is not enough in this course. I wish to be better at a time. Yes, one thing is I’m a scholarship student, so the state government funds me to study engineering every year. I fill out the form for the scholarship.

Ujjain Ayurvedic College at a Glance
Placements: This is a medical degree, so you will not get a package like engineering. However, we have a lot of career opportunities; we can prepare for government exams like CHO, AMO, Professor, etc., or we can run our own clinic after completing UG. There are many more opportunities, such as running your own pharmaceutical company too.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is superb; it has Wi-Fi all over the campus. The library is fully digitalized, and classrooms have projectors. The hostel facility is poor, but a new hostel with 250 seats for girls and boys is going to be developed in nearly three years. Currently, the college doesn't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. The teaching quality is also good, and the course curriculum is satisfactory. The difficulty level of the semester examinations is moderate, with a pass percentage above 50%. Although you can prepare for the main exam in 2-3 months, it would be better to study throughout the year.
Other: I chose Ayurveda because it has many career-related opportunities, and the government is promoting it now. It helps to prevent disease and improves people's lives, which gives me satisfaction. There are many fests organized in our college, such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Holi, etc. Apart from this, annual functions, sports, and cultural activities are also organized.

Reality is not matching the hype.
Placements: To be very honest, there is no placement in college. You have to apply off-campus for jobs. Not a single company comes here. There is one event happening here, which is a job fair but the companies that come are not companies; they are just local businesses that give below-average wages.
Infrastructure: If we talk about infrastructure, it is good and very huge, with lush greenery. There is one huge library situated on campus. Other than that, there is no such extra facility provided by the college. My house is very near the college so I have no idea about hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are actually good and friendly. They are experienced and teach very well but the problem is that they are not regular. Classes are not regular. The course is only based on theoretical knowledge, but there is a lack of practical knowledge. Exams are at a moderate level and happen every 6 months.
Other: Campus life is very boring here. There are no clubs or societies. Events and fests are also not happening here.

My college life and the college are the best.
Placements: Seventy-five students are allotted every year, and almost every student gets placement in higher college according to their PG scores and higher department. Every student does an internship as it is compulsory. Roles provided include Ayurveda doctor, Ayurvedic medical officer (AMO), community health officer (CHO), professor, and nutritionist.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is the best, as it is equipped with Wi-Fi, labs for every particular subject, and a library well-equipped with lots of books. Our college is soon going to develop hostels for 250 seats for boys and girls in the coming three years. This will help students in every sector.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and have the best knowledge in their subject. They have unique ideas to deliver their knowledge to students. Yes, my course is relevant as it helps students become doctors and save the lives of those in need. The semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: This course is the best, as it gives the opportunity to be a doctor and save the lives of those in need. More and more spread of Ayurveda should be done to encourage students to add to their nature and their roots. Many events are organized in our college, like Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Holi, and various sports, which help students develop their skills in extracurricular activities.

* Cultural and extra-curricular activities are organized regularly

Cons:

* Limited placements for B.Com students, with around 10-20% of students getting placed
* Some students feel that the course is too theoretical and lacks practical training
* Quality of education can be improved
* Hostel food may not be up to mark
* Wi-Fi connectivity may not be available everywhere

Overall, while B.Com at Vikram University has its strengths, such as good teaching quality and relevant curriculum, it seems to lack in terms of placements and practical training. However, it's essential to weigh these factors against individual goals and preferences before making a decision.

It's worth noting that some students and alumni have expressed satisfaction with their experience at the university, citing factors like excellent infrastructure, supportive faculty, and opportunities for growth. Others have mentioned that the university's efforts to improve the quality of education and increase placements are ongoing.

Ultimately, whether B.Com at Vikram University is a good choice depends on individual circumstances and priorities. We recommend researching thoroughly, speaking with current students and alumni, and weighing the pros and cons carefully before making a decision.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
