Got a seat at VIT-Andhra Pradesh University. This is exactly why you should grab this opportunity!
Placements: In the previous year, most of the students were successfully placed in top companies like Microsoft, PhonePe, etc. During the last placements season, the highest salary package was 32 LPA, offered by Mercedes. The average salary package offered was around 8-9 LPA. Most of the students were placed in companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, and IBM. These companies generally offer internships as early as the third year, and students mostly get PPOs. Summer internships are generally for SDE roles. A few selected companies offer roles like AI-ML and assets maintenance.
Infrastructure: The campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi offering decent speed to meet our needs. Classrooms are fitted with projectors, and most of the professors use PPTs for teaching. Labs are equipped with enough computers for college lab sessions. Besides, we cannot access labs without the permission of our faculty. While the library is not that good, we will get through the exam seasons, when we need a quiet place to study. All the books used by professors are available in the library. Hostels are great, but they have rules to follow. The mess food is surprisingly good in the hostel.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members here are good and know how to teach the subject, not how to mug things up. We might not feel that the courses are well aligned with modern-day requirements. As soon as we enter the 2nd year, we will need to attend the subjects which are very important from an interview point of view. Throughout the semester, we will have to attend four exams. 2 mid-sems, a sem-end, and a lab practical exam. Mid-sems are for 50 marks and the rest are for 100 marks. Something that we need to keep in mind here is the attendance. This is way far the biggest problem that most of the students here face is the attendance criteria. We have to maintain 80% attendance in both theory and labs to take any of the above-mentioned exams. So we need to keep in mind, that it's important to attend classes regularly, or at least we have to maintain a good relationship with our faculty.

Fully satisfied with the college along with good placements, a good campus, and nice exposure.
Placements: Over 90% of the students are placed with the highest salary package of 42 LPA, offered by top-tier companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and PhonePe. The minimum salary package offered is around 8 LPA. Common recruiters over the years include Microsoft, Google, TCS, Infosys and others. Top roles offered in different fields like Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostels have plenty of space and good facilities. They are well-equipped with facilities like high-speed internet, ACs, fans, study tables, and comfortable beds. Some of the big classrooms are air-conditioned. The facilities are good. Sports are well organized. We get a good opportunity to play sports like badminton, football and volleyball.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-educated and highly qualified from IITs and NITs. They teach really well. The exam curriculum is well-organized, with enough time to study. Students really enjoy the campus life. Semester-end exams are the toughest, where we need to study hard throughout the semester but they are manageable.
Other: Language barriers are challenging when we roam around the city, but it is not a big deal.

Review of VIT-AP University.
Placements: I haven't been placed as of now because I'm in my second year. The placement is okay-ish. Not very good or not very bad. Last year (2023), a student got placed in Apple. The highest package might be around 64 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. An internship is something you have to search for yourself.
Infrastructure: There are 5 hostels for men and 2 for women as of now. This campus is under construction. There's a very good library, and the infrastructure is pretty good too. The WiFi in the hostels might be an issue, as might the food there. Hostels are kept clean for the most part.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, I'd say. Some are very bad, some are excellent. So you have to talk to your seniors before you select the faculty during FFCS. You have 3 exams: CAT (Continuous Assessment Test) 1 and 2 and FAT (Final Assessment Test). Both CAT's have a certain weightage, which contributes to your CGPA.

Every thing you should know everything about VIT Andhra Pradesh before you get in!
Placements: Over 90 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 41.6 Lacs Per annum, offered by top tier companies like Microsoft, Mercedes, Google and Phonepay and the minimum packages are around 7 Lacs per annum. Common recruiters through the years have been, microsoft, google, TCS, Infosys, and Siemens. These companies generally start coming for internships in the 3rd year itself, out of which a major proportion gets a PPO. Top roles offered to us are SDE, Data Analyst, Cyber Security specials etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with projectors where almost all the professors teach through PPT and all of them upload it at the end of the lectures. Campus is well-equipped with Wi-Fi, with decent speed, that will get your needs sufficed. Labs have good computer systems that well get you through school works. Library is a bit of a disappointment but has all the books that you'd need to get through your college life and also a quiet environment to study in. Hostels are okayish to say the least. The mess is not as disappointing as you may think. Most hostels have AC rooms (which is actually required in this kind of weather). Wardens can be strict at times, but most of the times they understand your situation (unless you try doing something shady). .
Faculty: Most of the faculty members here are good. Obviously, there would be some exceptions like there always are. Four exams take place in total throughout a semester, three theory and one lab practical. Out of the three, two are called CAT and the later and the final one is called FAT. The course curriculum alligns very much with the requirements of jobs in today's world. A catch though is, you need 80 percent of attendance to sit for exam, whereas in other colleges this percentage is around 70. The semester exams are pretty easy if you listen to the class, you'd not have to sit and study for them separately.

I am satisfied with facilities, and ragging is strictly prohibited.
Placements: In my course, only 70% of students get placed. Still, placements are going on at present. This year, the highest salary package offered is 32 LPA. The average salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. PayPal, Microsoft, Zomato, and Accenture visit our college. Around 50% of students got internships from our course in companies like Caterpillar, Verizon, Blackrock, and Accenture. Top roles offered are Java developer and data scientist.
Infrastructure: Everywhere Wi-Fi is available on the campus. Its speed is 100 Mbps. Labs in the college have very good equipment. In classrooms, there is good infrastructure. Mainly the whole campus is very clean and filled with greenery. The campus is not air-conditioned. The library is air-conditioned. It has Wi-Fi. Its speed is 200 Mbps speed. The campus has 5 hostels and 4 ladies' hostel blocks. The MH Hostel is the best. The food is quite good in every hostel. Mainly all hostels are very clean. There is no limit for sports on campus. Students can play in the morning and evening as much as they can. There is no restriction. There is a canteen in every hostel.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and graduated from IITs and NITs. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The semester is a bit difficult if we could do some hard work we can manage. Almost 90% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. It provides many jobs every year. Our college conducts an event named Vitopa in February. It is a very grand event in VIT Andhra Pradesh in the whole year.

A decent college with good infrastructure and better studies.
Placements: Only 10% of students were placed in my course. The highest package is 7 lacs per annum, the average package is 4 lacs per annum and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are recruiting. Almost everyone got an internship. The top roles offered are of data analysts.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on campus for our course are good to go. Wi-Fi is fair, computer labs are decent, and classrooms and the library are nice. The quality of food is decent in hostels, and the infrastructure is very good. Medical facilities are fair.
Faculty: The curriculum for our course consists of 120 credits, and the subjects are mostly about our future roles in the company. The rating for the faculty in our college would be 3 out of 5. The difficulty of the semester exams is high compared to other colleges .
Other: The university is very crowded, with a strength of almost 13,000 students, including both boys and girls. The fests are decent, but the sports activities are not fair enough.
