Placements: VIT HAS AVERAGE PACKAGE OF 6.05 Lacs While Thapar has Average Package of 6.69 Lacs. Here Thapar is Better. But Thapar has more % of it's students in CS and IT then VIT. Many say that Thapar had better quality of Student But As of Data of 2019 Even 65 Percentile students could get admission in Thapar.

Our students and faculty members have received a good number of grants from government. Funding agencies like DST, AICTE, RTU, UGC, etc. The CS dept has a target to provide placement to every student and also have emphasis to prepare students to become job provider to society.
