You won't be able to get a seat. I would suggest you search for other colleges and keep other options open. VIT will be impossible for your admission.

No, The admission is based on 12th marks.
VIT has entrance exam only for Admission in B.Tech and M.Tech (PG only) courses. And no entrance for any of the UG or Integrated courses.

Yes, you can get a good package by doing M.Tech in VIT. You will have to put in your normal efforts and a few extra efforts in the end and it will be okay for you.

Doing B.Tech in other colleges is better than doing M.Tech in VIT because trust me, VIT's M.Tech is not that good to invest your time and money for M.Tech. I would suggest you take another college with B.Tech.
