You have to give VITEEE exam to take admission in VIT University. JEE Main rank has nothing to do with VIT so it's not possible. This is the newest campus of VIT, and last year, students got CSE below 1 Lacs rank easily, and I think it is not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus, because fees structure similar to VIT-Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And, it’s infrastructure is not fully completed and still it's under development.
If you think to take admission in VIT, then you should refer Vellore or Chennai campus now, and if you are not getting this campus, then you should try other university or college. Hope this helps.

Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently. So, the rank to VIT University may go high as expected. Can't tell which branch you get but it's sure you will get any branch from 6th category. So, you have to pay more for that.

The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 lakhs per annum, and super dream company means it offers 30 lakhs per annum. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester. If you are study minded student then u will definitely grab dream company at least. To get admissions into VIT University, you need to write an entrance exam called VITEEE for undergraduate programmes. Your board exam scores are not a part of admission unless you are a board topper. For post graduate courses you need to clear an entrance exam called VITMEE. So after writing the entrance exams only, you can get a seat at VIT University.
Or else, you can try the management quota. But, don't have any idea about management quota.
