No, it is really typical to get admission with such a rank in VITEEE. However, to get admission in your desired branch, the cut-off rank will vary considerably (for example, for CS it is under 8000). Since IT is highly preferable branch of students in any college, so you need a rank below 10000 to get IT branch in category 1, you may get it with higher ranks also but in category 2, 3, 4, 5 and according to the category the fee structure increases. So if you want specific marks then it's tough to predict but on an average try scoring more than 90 marks.

Vellore campus is very expensive.
Every one want admission in Vellore campus.
Vellore is first choice of students.
But, in second campus you didn't get luxury facility like Vellore .
So, students are not interested in second campus.
But, in education level both are good.
But, facility is weak point.

According to the last year's cut-off, you can if your rank is less than 7000. You can get computer science in VIT-Vellore because the previous year's closing rank for CSE branch was 7000, so I hope you secure this rank and get admission here.

If you have got a good score and rank below 15000, you can get the main campus that is VIT-Vellore.
Please tell me your rank so that I may tell whether you will get the main campus or not. If you have qualified and got a seat at VIT, whatever campus it may be please don't waste time but if you think you have not did your best then drop a year and study. My opinion is if you are qualified then please do your undergraduate course without wasting any time.
