It does not have a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications), but it does have completely B. Tech programs associated with Computer Science, IT, etc. Most BCA programs mandate mathematics as a compulsory subject. So, pursuing a BCA program from those universities would be tough for you since you've studied management/commerce in your 12th and did not take math. You could still apply for the entrance exam at VIT (VITEEE) if you have an inclination toward pursuing a B.Tech qualification in Computer Science or related fields. However, the same would require mathematics to be included as compulsory and available. You could look into other universities that do not have any requirement for math while offering BCA. You might also consider bridging math so that you meet eligibility requirements for admission to B. Tech programs.

1.Placement:Before enrolling in VIT-AP, check in which branch and specialisation you are getting admission. Ex: CSE-CORE, CSE-AI, CSE-Network Security etc. vs CSE, ECE, MECH etc. This is the most important thing to pay attention to. You won't know its importance until you actually go there. You will regret this mistake (choose your specialization). Here are the reasons why:2. The only stream that got a good rank is CSE-Core. All other specializations like AI, DS, NS etc. only serve business purpose and generate profit by increasing category fees, not a career. Mark my words. If you visit your placement, you will see that there is hardly any choice in any specialization. It is a fact. A core student with CGPA of 8 will be shortlisted in 10 companies and a specialisation student with CGPA of 8.8 will be shortlisted in 3-4 companies (fact).3. VIT-AP says they get 700 companies, ask them to announce how many companies they have shortlisted, if you are lucky and are from CSE-CORE you will be shortlisted maximum 60-70 out of 700 companies. Example: During the job search process, you are really looking forward to the job. I will explain the following scenario: "A certain company comes with a 15 LPA package and you are excited to achieve it with your laptop in front of you, when you get a "shortlist" which is just for students to be eligible for company audits. Nearly 14 companies come every week but you can write to only 3-4 companies. Out of 700 companies, you end up writing to a maximum of 60 companies. Lots of companies come to your college but you only get a few. By the end of December, your chances of getting a job are very low.

With a rank of 5023 in the VIT Integrated M.Tech entrance exam, securing a seat in the CSE Data Science programme at VIT Vellore is possible, though competitive. Admission depends on factors like rank, programme availability, and campus preference. Historically, candidates with ranks around 5,000 have been able to secure seats in integrated M.Tech courses. The cutoff rank varies each year based on the number of applicants and available seats. It's essential to participate in the counseling process to explore your chances and confirm the availability of seats in the desired program.

The total fees as seen in the VIT Vellore Seal of the B.Tech Infographic in Computer Science and Engineering : Cse Tuition Fee Structure encompasses all the annual charges in course of four years. Some estimates have been made that the total fees for this course will not be more than Rs. 7, 80, 000. This sum is then spread out evenly throughout the four years of the course. This total amount which is generally consists of tuition fees, hostel fees and other expenditures has to be paid by the students every academic year in instalments. To avoid complications, it is best to select the option to make an updated or expanded payment through the official website or from bursars or admission offices if required.
