As per the students' review on the Shiksha page, the institute offers the highest salary package ranging from INR 25 LPA to INR 34 LPA. The top recruiters at VIT Vellore, namely Cognizant, Deloitte, Microsoft, and Nokia. However, more than 90% of students have secured placements. The infrastructure of the institute is excellent. It features air-conditioned, smart classrooms, well-equipped labs and a variety of tools. Additionally, the total tuition fee for the BSc programme ranges from INR 1.6 Lacs to INR 4.4 lakh, depending on the chosen specialisation. However, the above-mentioned fee is taken from the official website. It is still subject to change and, hence, inductive.

However, depending on the semester and the academic year, the exact result declaration date in question may considerably differ. For example, results for the odd semester, which consists of December end examinations, are generally announced by the end of the January, while those of the even semester with May end examinations are declared by the end of June. The students can also follow the results on the official VIT website or via the student login section.

Documents needed for UG application for B.E/B.Tech in VIT - Vidyalankar Institute of Technology are 10th standard mark sheet (INR 10/- stamp size photo), 12th standard mark sheet (INR 10/- stamp size photo), JEE Main or MHT CET scorecard, caste certificate if required and income certificate if required. Also, the candidates have to produce a photocopy of their Aadhaar card, photocopy of Domicile Certificate and a Medical Certificate. These documents must be sworn by a gazetted officer or any notary public. According to the institute, a student needs to produce 10 to 12 documents which can be issued either personally or through post.

For instance the institute provides a broad area of specialisation in the following fields of engineering; Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. The minimum marks required in the 10+2 examination for students to secure their admission is 50% and the student should have passed in Physics Mathematics and Chemistry/Biology. For instance, Gaurav Kamboj from the 2013 batch was recently recruited on the Cloud Architect position at Hotstar, he receives INR 25 Lacs for a year or 2, 50,000 rupees per month. Other place, Rohan Shah has completed PG from IIT and working as a Senior Software Engineer in GOOGLE Company and drawing of upto INR 300000/-PA. Other alumni are Kaushal Patel a Product Manager at Amazon and Priyanka Patel a Data Scientist at IBM. Of these, 10,500+ are part of the VIT fraternity, with an 80% placement with top organizations.
