Congratulations on securing a rank of 1186 in the VITMEE exam! Based on your rank, you may have a chance of getting admission in the M.Tech programme at VIT Vellore. However, admission to the M.Tech programme at VIT Vellore also depends on various factors such as the number of available seats, the number of applicants, the cutoff for the specific programme, and other factors. It is also important to note that the admission process involves counseling and selection based on your performance in the exam. Therefore, it is recommended that you check the previous year's cutoff rank for the M.Tech programme in which you are interested at VIT Vellore. This will give you an idea of your chances of getting admission to that programme. Additionally, you can also explore other M.Tech programs offered by VIT or other colleges and apply to them as well, to increase your chances of getting admission. I would also advise you to keep a backup plan and apply to other colleges or programs that you are interested in, in case you are not able to secure admission in VIT Vellore.

With a rank of 188311 in VITEEE it may be difficult for you to get admission to the main VIT campus in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, or Bhopal. However, you may still have a chance to get admission to other campuses of VIT University such as VIT-Andhra Pradesh, VIT-Bhopal, or VIT-Chennai. The admission process for VIT University is based on the rank obtained in VITEEE and the availability of seats. Candidates with higher ranks have a better chance of getting admission to their preferred branch and campus. It is important to note that the cutoff ranks for different branches and campuses vary every year, depending on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats. Therefore, it is recommended to check the previous year's cutoff ranks and keep an eye on the official website for the latest updates on admission and cutoff ranks. If you are unable to get admission to your preferred branch or campus, you can consider other options such as participating in counseling for other engineering colleges, or exploring other fields of study that align with your interests and career goals.
