I prepared for 20-30 days, here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Examine the syllabus, which is available on Woxsen's website. (It is announced before the test. )
2. The section on general knowledge is very important. As a result, it is far more important not to leave this section's preparation to the last minute. Concentrate on static General Knowledge and current events from the previous year.
3. To prepare for the What, practise mock CAT/MAT mock questions in English Mathematics, and Logical Reasoning. Time your responses because one of the areas of the test you should be practising is time management.
4. I would advise you to plan ahead of time and use the last month for mock tests and revision rather than studying. Maintain a clear and focused mind. Make this a habit until D-Day.
5. It's possible that some simple queries will be asked in a twisted manner. Mock tests will help you in understanding this better. I did not go for coaching but made sure I had prepared well for topics mentioned in the syllabus. Also, I solved lots of mock tests. I hope this helps! All the best!

Slot: February 2nd, 2017
College/University: Woxsen University
My GD &PI for Woxsen University was at the corporate office in Jubilee Hills. The GD & PI was announced in advance, giving me plenty of time to prepare. Programme advisors were quite helpful in ensuring that I arrived at the GD & interview location on time. Once I arrived, the first thing to check off my list was registration. During registration I was given a group number, the groups are normally 7-8 participants. There will be your counsellor or a group coordinator to assist you with the day's activities. The GD topic was given at the scheduled time. We were expected to write about it on paper and then discuss it. We had 5 minutes to scribble down our ideas and 20 minutes to discuss and conclude. Next was the Personal Interview I was the second candidate in my group. My panel consisted of two members. They were quite friendly and made sure I was at ease and settled before we started the PI. Sharing a few questions that were asked to me:
- Tell us about yourself. - Tell us about one of your best achievements in life that you are really proud of. - Why MBA? - Why Woxsen? - Tell me about a time when you failed
- What extracurriculars are you passionate about? - What do you hope to major in? - There were also questions about my family and myself. So, in a nutshell, my interview was a great conversation. I would advise being honest and self-assured. To conclude, it goes without saying that the verdict is: Converted. I hope this helps and good luck!
