There is flexibility in the way that the University of Petroleum and the Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) is administered. Candidates have the option of taking the computer-based test (CBT) in person at specified testing locations or taking it online under proctoring from the comfort of their own homes.To ensure a seamless exam experience, you must have a computer with a webcam, and a dependable internet connection and follow the instructions supplied by UPES if you choose to take the exam online under proctoring. Candidates must go to the designated testing location to take the CBT mode. Your availability and convenience will determine the option Make sure you choose the mode while registering and get ready appropriately.

The UPES will declare the UPESEAT result after the completion of the examination process. The UPES specifiesn the criteria to make it to the merit list for BTech programs. Candidates can check below the minimum requirements;Minimum 60% marks in the UPESEAT entrance examMinimum 60% marks in the 12th or any other equivalent PCM examThrough JEE Mains, candidates have to score a minimum of 70% marks and have scored 80% marks in the 12th or equivalent exam.Through an intermediate merit basis, candidates have to score 80% in the 12th or equivalent exam or 80% in PCM.Candidates can consider a score over 80%  in UPESEAT as safe score. The University of petroleum and Energy sciences counducts an university level entrance exam for the undergradute engineering courses known as UPES Engineering aptitude test. The UPESEAT is conducted in multiple phases for the convienience of the students. All candidates seeking admission in the UPES can opt for admission though UPESEAT scores, JEE Mains scores and 12th scores. The university reserves some of the seats for the UPESEAT students only.
