The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission allot the UPPCS prelims exam centres based on the first apply first allot basis. In most cases, the applicant get the UPPSC exam centre of their choice. The Commission conduct the exam in 51 districts across the state but there are 76 disctricts in the state.

As per the new UPPSC Exam Pattern, there will be a 0.33% negative marking for every incorrect answer. Each paper will be conducted for 2 hours. Indeed, the PCS Prelims 2023 cutoff marks have been made public by the UPPSC. After the test, which took place on May 14, 2023, the results were made public on June 26, 2023. Category-specific cutoff scores were 120.55 for OBC, 113.25 for SC, and 104.25 for ST candidates, whereas the General category cutoff was 126.55. 4,047 applicants in all have qualified for the Mains exam, which was set for September 10 and 11, 2023.
