Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Critical care experience within the last three years

A minimum GPA of 3.0, calculated using their entire RT or RN diploma/degree programs of study

Documentation which is relevant to training and/or experience (CV or resume)

A document or a letter from a recent employer confirming a minimum of one year of critical care experience within the past three years

The applicant's cumulative grade point average (GPA) will be calculated using grades from the entire undergraduate degree program of study. A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required

Applicants must have a bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university and successful completion of each of the following university courses with a minimum grade of B (GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale):

Anatomy

College Algebra or Calculus

Physiology

Physics with Laboratory (course must cover the following: Newtonian laws, fluid dynamics and fluid statics)

Organic or Inorganic Chemistry (course must cover the following: structure of matter, solutions, acid/base theory, and thermodynamics)

Nice and friendly environment.

Tips: Students coming here should be aware that it is cheap as compared to other countries but then it also depends upon your field of study. If you are awarded scholarships then it becomes much easier. Tuition fees depend on your study materials and field. If you start earning part-time then it will help your daily expenses. Although, it is difficult to find on-campus part-time jobs. So come prepared.

Dislikes (Part time work): It's illegal in USA to do part time jobs off campus. Also near my location, not that many vacancies are available but it is legal to do it on campus. There are issues for on-campus jobs like so many students are there from the last sesmester already applying for these jobs so chances are dim.

Tips: Students coming here should know that Lawrence Technological University's degree has great value. It's easier to get a job if you have a degree from LTU than at any other university. The on-campus job opportunities are pretty nice. The professors here are very kind and helpful, they always support us.

Tips: Before joining this university, it is important that you are ready to learn and unlearn a number of things. The way of life can be considerably different than India and you are expected to have a more independent approach. Along with this, you can look for part-time jobs as a side hustle.
