- Two NEIU Disposition Assessments (completed by supervisors)
- Successful completion of a written exam provided by the department
- Completion of a successful teaching or school support personnel portfolio
- Completion of two years of PK- Age 21 teaching OR in a school support personnel area for admission to the program and completion of four years of experience to be eligible for graduation and the Principal Endorsement upon completion of the program
- The program's Higher Education Leadership (ENLACE) concentration admits students for the fall semester only
- Additional requirements for Higher Education Leadership - A personal statement that includes one's experience in education and one’s professional aspirations both related to the mission of the program
