The Graduate College will only allow degrees equivalent to the 4-year U.S. bachelor's degree for admission into a graduate program. Degrees not eligible for graduate admission include (but are not limited to) the 3-year bachelor of commerce, arts, or science degrees from India and the 3-year bachelor degree program from Nepal.
*Some three-year degrees may be considered on a case by case basis. The Graduate College may accept 3-year degrees in certain situations: 3-year degrees that are equivalent to a 4-year U.S. bachelor's degree or 3-year degrees combined with specific post-graduate degrees. Examples of such combinations include, but are not limited to:
- Completion of a 3-year bachelors degree and completion of an additional 2-year master's degree program
- Completion of a 3-year bachelors degree and completion of an additional 1 or 2-year post-graduate diploma (PGD) degree program
- Some three year degrees from certain countries may be considered based on globally recognized standards of equivalence.
