- Subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
- English
- Grade 11 U or M or Grade 12 U mathematics
- One additional Grade 12 U or M course from: visual arts, Canadian and world studies, social science and humanities, science or technological design
- Students should take physics (Grade 11 or higher) and the art option in Grades 11/12 if available.
- Preference may be given to applicants with Grade 12 U courses in history or visual arts/art history
- All India Senior School Certificate Examination (awarded by CBSE) or the Indian School Certificate (awarded by CISCE).
- Students presenting Year 12 State Board Exams (Higher Secondary School Certificate; Intermediate Certificate) with high standing will also be considered for admission.

Glad to be studying at Toronto Metropolitan University
Tips: The transition to university life was smooth as the rou had set in and the cultural shift was mainly because of being in a foreign country. I think I am glad that I am studying at TMU as it is said, as I have heard, to have a good co-op for the engineering students.
Likes (Internships): I have yet to reach my internship year but from what I know by attending Toronto Metropolitan University workshops and seminars, is that there are a lot of good opportunities in co-op. I've heard from many seniors about it too, that they have landed some good placements in reputed companies.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian food restaurants here in Toronto as well as in other cities because of the vast Indian population here in Canada. There are also a lot of Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican food options too. Pretty much everything is available.
