Overseas students meeting the set criteria for the scholarships are directly considered for the University of Windsor’s Open Entrance Scholarship program. Another option is the Transfer Student Scholarship which is awarded to students who are pursuing a full-time undergraduate course and are direct transfers from an international institute (law and education excluded). They should be holding a transfer average between 80% to 84.9%. The award value for them is INR 41,956.94. Those holding a transfer average of 85% or above will receive INR 83,913.88.
International students are considered for the University of Windsor Open Entrance Scholarship programme if the following requirements are fulfilled:
- The student must be coming directly after completing their secondary school studies and they must have completed a minimum of one term of full-time secondary school studies in the year immediately preceding the academic year
- In the year after, the student will not be considered to have returned to their secondary school studies to upgrade after a year or more break in their studies.
- The scholarship eligibility is based on the final and interim Grade 12 grades received by the student.
- Students should register full-time in the academic year immediately after their high school graduation to be considered.
- International students are automatically considered for Transfer Student Scholarships if they have fulfilled the eligibility criteria.
