Yes, you can pursue a Ph.D. with only a postgraduate (PG) degree, without qualifying for the National Eligibility Test (NET) or holding an M.Phil. degree. In India, universities have specific eligibility criteria for Ph.D. admissions, which may vary. Some institutions accept candidates with a PG degree, while others require NET qualification or an M.Phil. For example, the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) allows candidates with an M.Sc. or B.E. degree to apply for their Ph.D. program, provided they have at least 60% aggregate marks.

In India, the eligibility criteria for a PhD in Hindi Literature are a Master's degree in Hindi or related field. Sometimes, though not always, an MPhil or qualifying NET exam score is preferred. Several universities offer direct admission into PhD based on academic records of the Master's program, research proposal, and an interview process.

The Rajagiri College of Social Sciences' MSW admissions deadline fluctuates annually according to the admission cycle. Applicants for 2024 should monitor announcements or changes on the official website for exact dates. Application deadlines typically occur in late spring and include an admission exam, a Group Discussion (GD), and in-person interviews. Check the official website or get in touch with the admissions office to confirm the precise 2024 deadline.
