Scholarships & Financial Aid
Is there any scholarship or financial aid available for international students?
Yes, the school offers various scholarships to international students. The scholarship awards are based on a holistic view of a student's profile. They are offered based on tuition fees. Some scholarships are also awarded based on housing fees. Scholarships offered to students do not cover living expenses, insurance, course materials, and visa fees.
Scholarships are awarded based on students’ merit and academic performance. Students are required to have a consistent CGPA at the end of every year to continue receiving these scholarships. Students who feature on the Dean's List in both semesters receive a scholarship of 10% for the next academic year. If a student already has a scholarship, the Dean's List Scholarship will be an additional 10% for them. Students who have a 100% scholarship will not receive any additional scholarship benefits.
Students are required to have a minimum of 75% marks in high school to be eligible for scholarships. For postgraduate scholarships, students are required to have a minimum of 720 in GMAT and 95 percentile in CAT/SPJET. Students can refer to the university’s website for more information.

Admission Process
When do the admissions start?
At SP Jain, undergraduate programmes have only one intake in September. Postgraduate programmes have three intakes in October, February, and September. The admission window for each intake opens approximately six months before the programme commencement.
In case of international application, students must keep a few months spare to allow enough time for admission review and visa filing. Hence, students are advised to apply as early as 3-6 months before the course begins.

What are the steps to the application process?
All international graduates and undergraduates may apply to SP Jain's Sydney or any other international campus online via the university’s admission portal referring to the application steps given below:
Step 1: Visit appforms.spjain.org/spjregistration.aspx and register for a new account.
Step 2: After registration, an ID and password will be sent to your email. Log in with the ID and password.
Step 3: Fill in your personal details such as campus, name, address, contact information, etc.

Referring to such a small class size with such a diversity, especially in Global MBA, it would also be ideal to say that the university gives a fair chance to all students from all countries.
The school prepares a shortlist of potential students based on their past academic performance, English proficiency scores, and aptitude test results of standardised qualifying exams. Students are then required to write two essays and appear for a personal interview conducted by a member of the school's selection committee. Qualifying students are selected, after a couple of evaluation rounds.

Yes, all students a valid work permit to work in the country can work on and off-campus while studying at SP Jain, Sydney. International students are allowed to work 20 hours a week while classes are in session and full-time or 40 hours a week during university breaks and vacations.
