- This unique postgraduate's programme combines the expertise of both a university (VUB) and a university hospital (UZB) in an intensive trajectory
- The programme covers all types of breast reconstruction, from autologous (pedicled flaps, free flaps and perforator flaps) and implant-based breast reconstruction, to oncoplastic breast-conserving approaches to breast cancer, exposing you to various techniques of breast reduction and mastopexy together with implant breast augmentation procedures
- Students will develop skills in organising a department of plastic surgery, multidisciplinary consultation, intervention planning and preparation, plus practical skills with different surgical techniques and decision trees for treatment choice in these domains
